DOOM 1, 2, and 3 bonuses
Do these skin bonuses apply if you buy/own the games on steam? Or is it simply a BethesdaNet offer?

Uh... what are these bonuses you're referring to? Is that the "Bonus Campaign Master Level" pre-purchase bonus content?

No, the Original DOOM Marine skins.

Check the Slayer's Club website, press pre-order and scroll to the bottom. They say you get a special DOOMGUY skins for Eternal of you own any of the classic games (Doom 1,2,3), but they don't tell you if it includes steam version or not

So if I understood the question right, the bonus skin should be available for all pre-purchasers, on all platforms and storefronts. I own whatever 90s DOOM games are available, in that regard.

What I want to know is if the classic green armored Doom Guy armor is also tied to these or if it's just the alt colors.

Nonono, not the pre-order skins, the skins you get if you own the original Doom games. Check BethesdaNets store pages for Doom 1, 2 and 3.

I see now...

Coming from Bethesda, it might just exclusive to them.

Well, if anyone owns doom 3 or the others it would be great if they could confirm if you can link it to bethesda, as that is what they want you to do apparently

You have to buy the new console releases, they aren't updating the Steam versions to the new ports

I own all three on Bethesda and got the skins unlocked through the slayers club link in game. So looks like you need those versions

Do you know if it is sufficient to buy Doom 3 BFG Edition on Bethesda or do you need to get the separate games?

It's only for the 25th anniversary Remasters aka the newest versions of them afaik. Doom 1 & 2 are $5 each and Doom 3 is $10.

If you don't have a Bethesda.net link inside of your game's main menu then they're not able to be linked.

You're welcome. I know the various versions I own will not connect so I just blew $20 because eh why not. I've bought these games a million times over the years on different platforms and OSes.

*edit*

If you notice there's also a fourth slot for a game. People are speculating it's going to be for Doom64.

This is the exact position I am in, I was just not sure if I had to buy bethesdas versions or not, you saved me the trouble of having to go through most likely several refunds in case I got the wrong ones.
