Is the deluxe edition worth the price?
Considering buying the game but don't know which version I should go for

The main perk of the deluxe edition is the 1-year season pass. It will come with two DLCs. The rest doesn't offer much other than a neat demonic skin for the slayer and a classic weapon sound pack to replace your shooting sounds.
I'd say it is because you're paying for DLCs now instead of later when you may or may not have the money for them. Plus, they might be more expensive than $15 each when they release, so it's both a forward investment and a chance at a decent sale already. I got the DD and I'm glad I'm not gonna have to scrounge for however much the DLC will be when they release.

You get a free retro game along with Eternal, plus instant access to DLC campaigns when they come out as well as a remix level immediately. I say it's worth it.

I would say yes considering you get Story DLCs, so you dont have to worry about holding money ready when you want to continue the story because you will instantly be able to do so. You also get some cool other stuff, specially the Master Level will be a good challenge after finishing the game, and the demonic slayer looks pretty badass

If you're referring to DOOM 64, it's only free for pre-orders and you get it regardless of edition.

I have ordered Deluxe Edition from Steam.
If there is something i don't like i'm going to refund.

When i press play from Steam i expect that it will work without any bethesda related log in screens or forcing me to do something so i can claim the bonuses. 90€ is lot of money and i dont take any ****.

Its going to be on sale anyways and then i can live with some faults in the product.

Good luck as they did this "stunt" (Bethesda Account) for Rage 2 already.

I'm still on the fence about the DD. I mean, I could always await for a sale for the year 1 pass. The rest don't really have that much interest to me

I'd say this is exactly why companies pull this kinda stuff. Please enlighten me as to why i should buy something that doesn't even exist at the moment? This is why i not PrePurchase either ... that word "PrePurchase" is already a atrocity. Why buying something that is not even sold yet?
The worst thing that can happen, is that the DLC get awesome, and you pay $30 later ... if they dare to price them higher ... then just wait it out. At some point they throw the DLC at you.

That is unless you can't hold your money like Souolex23 here, but if you are always broke nothing can really help you.

Not worth it in my opinion go with standard unless you have money to burn.

I hope they offer an deluxe edition upgrade for the price difference. It's too late for me to cancel my pre-order and get the deluxe edition instead before release...

meh, pretty lackluster tbh.

I had money to toss away, and I wanted to indulge myself. It's not that I can't hold my money, I just had enough to spoil myself at the time

Yeah i didn't want to offend you or anything, you do you. If a game feels worth a buy, buy it. Indulging is also a good thing too.

I am atm struggling, should i grab Doom Eternal and deal with Bethesda(and making a account with those) ... but i am not so much fan of the Jumping segments i see in Let's Plays.

Or should i grab Borderlands 3, which has a premier sale right now, but then i deal with GearBox and Rowdy Randy Pitchfork. I am not that sure do i want to put up with that stupid Element System in Borderlands, though i the story is probably not half as bad as people make it sound like.
I would say no.

You play the game now, you'll rip and tear until it's done.

After that you'll not think of this game until about a year from now and you'll see DLCs for this game in the steam launcher. Those DLCs will probably be -50% off by that point. Buy them then. Why buy DLCs now.
