Can the modder please bring it to the Steam workshop, or am I going blind and can't find it?

will the mods be able to work with co-op when it comes out?

They took apart and reassembled everything in the game to make it more complex
These are the same people that look at Factorio and go "We need like 8 more types of ore in that, gameplay's only a thousand hours right now and them's rookie numbers"

that's why such things are mods, and not the actual game - to many great games are to complex for the average gamer, thus they are quite hidden gems - and then there are extremely simplified games like Factorio, that manage to appeal even to ppl that normally don't like such games (mostly due to their insane controlability and intuitive one too - many games already fail at the controls, trying to invent the wheel anew, instead sticking to already made conventions! xP), while still offering enough content and complexity bits to keep players engaged - both the casuals and the hardcore gamers that NEED complexity - the key is to make complex things kinda optional, but rewarding (nuclear power), or make them not too difficult to get done (oil - and no i don't look at you satisfactory, you messed up!) - ofc it's always a delicate balance, and sadly no complex game can get to a dev stage where you could it call "finished", there's always something to improve or add! ;-)
But that's where mods came in, and why it's so great when devs think about modding from the beginning - as that allows to tailor the game to nearly everyones liking or improve & add without needing to trow off the casuals (wich just want a rather relaxed game to compensate their complex lives) with to much complexity ;-)

I always love seing devs endorsing special mods that go beyond just modifying, and actual creating original work on top of their game^^ - but given many devs at EXOR Studios are modders themselves, so they know exactly how it is to depend on the devs opening gamefiles to modification! ;-)

The only mod I cared about was the instant bio scanner one. Hate having to sit there for 3s and scan things! Instantly being able to scan was a game changer!

Just use the scanner turrets?
I will wait to try this mod till Co-op is out!!!

The weird drop off in difficulty even on brutal is basically the number one thing that bothers me about this otherwise awesome game, so I'm glad to see this kind of mod. The start is difficult but once you get a foothold, it becomes a piece of cake.

Also yes please bring this to Workshop. ;)

Author, (EXOR Studios), unfortunately the great mod you reference, WirawanMYT’s Expanded Arsenal, has not been available since the addition of the fungal forest expansion. The last update was April 2024, and running the mod crashes the game. It is listed as outdated in the ingame mod list.

Hopefully your referencing this mod that is dearly in need of an update will help facilitate the process. It was one of the most popular and useful mods in the workshop.

Wirawan is working on the update! You can ask him about the progress on our Discord :)
