yeah. an option to change it would be nice. it didn´t feel hard at all and i was actively ignoring the weather

same problem. Game didnt start. The task hangs in the tray for 10 minutes. The computer was rebooting. Сhecking the files steam and Resetting the settings throught launcher didn't help.

Same for me.
After clicking Play, Steam shows that the game is running but nothing happens.

The game worked fine this morning - before the update.

I can see the riftbreaker_win_release.exe process in the task manager, it has 273 Mb memory usage but 0 CPU usage.

The configuration utility starts fine.

Tried:
- Deleting the game and the save files (by removing Documents/The Riftbreaker folder), rebooting the computer and installing again
- Switching between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12
- Resetting graphics settings; setting them all to lowest

Nothing helped so far.

Specs: Windows 10 x64; Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with Ryzen 7 and RTX3070.

Upd:
The game does seem to generate a crash dump:
A new *.dmp file appears in the Documents/The Riftbreaker/crash_info when it is starting.

Hopefully revamping Survival mode is on the docket, right now it's just awful. This is supposed to be a tower defense and resource management game, like in the campaign, but there's too few resources, too little time, and too many enemies even on "normal" for Survival to be called a "game". Towers are of no strategic use and must be spammed in the face of a wave as there is no way to set up a proper defense even with the help of terrain, and base-building is entirely sacrificial with the purpose of giving the xenos something to chew on. There's no satisfaction in a pyrrhic victory being the best outcome; it's just a chore.

What about the possibility to zoom out a little more?
