Lightning gun is a pain to get.

I really like the weapon but it's extremely painful to try and get, I've cleared like 4 entire maps of those loot pods and I've only managed to get a basic and it's blue upgrade version, what makes it worse is all the useless filler stuff I keep getting, like mines, dodges, jumps and random decor I never have a use for...

PLS devs, make the lightning gun part of the normal tech tree, I BEG YOU!

Awards are profile unlocks, once you unlock it you will always have it on future campaigns and survivals.

That does not help me at all right now, but it's nice to know that I won't have to repeat the grind with every new game.

there are some commands to unlock items , or i think text files you can edit.

But i agree that unlocking items is unfun - i hate RNG unlocks for gameplay items.

I have been grinding unlocks since I posted my OP and have still not gotten any more lightning guns other than the base and the blue version... kill me...

but its absolutely useless until you research energy weapon so armory start producing energy ammo .. you cannot use it from start even though you can craft it ..
