BUG: Underground Infestation doesn't count the first nest destroyed, cannot complete

Thought maybe my game glitched and reloaded, but every time I get the objective to destroy the nests, the first one doesn't count towards the total that need to be destroyed. Searched the whole map just in case one spawned and wasn't marked, but couldn't find it.

must be a bug with nests and or boss spawns then mine bugged with the monstrous creature spawn being killed by long range weapons.
