The task where you need to protect the great tree using shield generators cannot be completed. Zone "B" does not see the installed shield generator, while zone "A" is fine. I tried more than 20 times to rebuild the shield generator in zone “B” and around it, nothing helps, the task is not completed, it is impossible to continue the game, it’s a dead end.

On my game it wanted me to place the shields on the left and right points, try that instead of left and south or put them on all 3

As DJ8472 said. Mine was left and right side, but at one point it did seem to suggest the south.

Try going left and right and seeing if that works. Else you can reset map progress using a console command (pain to lose progress but it means you can still play)

Yes, I placed it on the right side, despite the fact that the circle on the map indicated the southern side, this solved the problem. Thank you.

Zone B is to the east side of the tree. You built the shield generator in the 'main zone'. For some reason the radius is displayed in the wrong location. I am sorry about that.

Try building a shield gen in the area to the right, where you have a couple of biocomposters, next to the thornvine growth.

Ahhh, I left this open in a tab before looking into it and only replied after you got your answer. I am sorry about the confusion. We will fix the issue in an upcoming patch.
