Stuck in New DLC - Examine the Excrements

Hi All,

I'm likely just missing something but I cannot seem to advance the quest in the new DLC. I'm on the second map, obtaining the repellent. I've gathered the fruit and the current quest status is "examine the excrement". I cannot seem to locate wherever this is supposed to be, have spent over an hour relooking over the areas of the map. Is this a bug or am I just being an idiot?

There is nothing on my minimap, and I've thrown at that creature and nothing happened!

nothing popped up on my minimap either, i struggled to find the poo. Keep trying to feed the poogret, hope it works for you eventually. literally looking for a poo on the ground. maybe they can add a minimap icon in an update soon.

When I did it, they showed up as purple symbols on the minimap when they were in scan range, and if you're holding one of the fruits, they should use their eyes to make a green spotlight effect towards you and the fruit. At that point, you can toss the fruit on the ground and they should run over to it and eat it.

You can see a colored Excrements near the task and press the space bar. There are no markings on the map.
