Mods simply don't get applied?
I launch it in offline mode, I see the mods in the mod manager, but when I launch the game, they don't get applied!

the same problem.
After 40 hours I don't want to play without mods

Try turning them off and back on. It’s what I had to do and they work fine again

Did it. Didn't work.
Figured it out. Delete your editor workspaces. those interfere with mod loading.

If you don't know what that is, then it's not your issue, because you did not start modding the game.

If you got other problems with mods, try making sure that you are online, because mods do not work offline (I've had a looong discussion with the devs about it, and they simply do not seem to understand that if you don't have internet, the mods do not work. Or they feigned ignorance, and trolled me off their own discord. One of the two.).

Also, make sure if you have a mod.io account, DO NOT SUSPEND IT. That'll break your mods too. Doesn't matter if you downloaded mods from it or not.

In point of fact, the devs tested mods both online and offline and this worked fine for them:

When multiple people try but cannot reproduce your specific issue, accusing them of bad faith is not actually helpful.

Doesn't have to be helpful if it's true. That's kind of the nature of true statements of bad faith. And I have no evidence that multiple people tried to reproduce my problems. I got claims about it. But considering how my conversations with Exor staff went, I'm not putting much stock in their (or your) words. It could be that I'm wrong and it was just a long strings of misunderstandings, however, Occam doesn't seem to support that interpretation.

You did receive evidence. Refer to the link in #8.

I got claims about it.
Thanks for conceding that you "got claims about it", because this means you acknowledge that you've received evidence.

If you are going to assume without any justification that Exor was lying about trying to reproduce your issue, then you were irrational to seek help from them to begin with.

Convincing others not to help you means you get to solve your problems all by yourself.
To borrow your phrasing, I'm not putting much stock in your ability to do so.

No. I did not receive evidence. Writing on Steam is not evidence. Unless you want to agree that I have a pet red dragon. Because I wrote it on Steam. :)

And I have justification. However, at the time I wrote the original post that started this (that being in June) I did not have the exchange with Void and Pavel that I had. By December, now, I did. So "originally" I did not know what kind of people I was talking to. Now I do. So it would be irrational to seek their help now. That's why I'm not on their discord. No reason to be there, the "community" is insufferable, the mods have double standards, and the support tickets are less than useless.

I never convinced anybody not to help. You, on the other hand, is working kind of hard to derail this support forum. Nobody cares what you put stock into. Cool life story, but please forward it to whoever asked.

I should probably just leave and stop replying to whatever you vomit onto my screen, but it's just... so... dishonest... You work in politics? You should work in politics.

You being willing to make up obviously unbelievable claims is not justification to assume that the developers of a game lied about trying to reproduce your issue.

I never convinced anybody not to help.
Wrong. In point of fact, you have convinced me to never try to help you again. Good day.

I never made up any obviously unbelievable claims. Your attempts at gaslighting maybe works when it's face to face, but a written forum is quite effective at dispelling your lies.

And yay, I convinced a dishonest guy to not try to lie to me! That's a success! Unless you lied about that too.
