Does having multiple of the same weapon stack?
I just realized this as i was getting the minigun achievement but it seems that holding 2 of the same weapon gives it 6 slots to mod which affect each other. The stats show that the mods on one gun are reflected on the other so i cant help but admit that this is amazing.

It doesnt seem like everything stacks tho. So its either a bug where the stats increased are reflected on the other or only somethings are shared.

From what I've seen, same gun, since they use the same ammo type, they'll use up the ammo twice as fast. Like if your storage has 4 ammo and you did two shots, left gun would use two and right gun would use two, then you'll run out. This also applies to different guns but use the same ammo type, if you press the left gun only, you'll see the ammo of the right gun eventually go down, but since the ammo amount will be different since it's a different gun, it'll go down slower or faster.

Whatever mods you put in each gun effects only that one specific gun. Like if you put cryo damage on gun 1 and not gun 2, then only gun 1 would have cryo and have the side effect of slowing down enemies. DoT, please correct me if I'm wrong, but same type don't stack, that's why I stack different elements. Like if you do 15 fire per sec damage and you hit it again with a shot, doesn't mean you'll have 15 + 15 = 30 fire per sec damage, it just means you'll extend the duration of the fire damage. I tried going all DoT damage and it sucked lol (well, I was playing hard 500x as well, maybe norm etc would be okay).

A hp per hit/ammo cost redustion and splash damage on 2 miniguns made them amazing.

Their now my favorite bullet weapon combo other than the swarm missile/shotgun one i have been using.
