Anybody know the extraction efficiency of the new mining drones?

i know that a fully upgraded extractor gains 3 resources per unit of ore, but how do the drone miners compare?

I notice they are not great, but their range and uniform ability to get everything gives them a pretty serious leg up.

I thought the Tier 3 extractor gets 4 resources per unit of ore? Was that changed?

not extractor, he talks about the new mining drone tower. never tested that one, but the also new resource gatherer Tower is a waste of resources, place and energy. it not even takes up all in his to small radius...

He meant on the title post they said "a fully upgraded extractor gains 3 resources per unit of ore" i just assumed it was a spelling mistake

Then I guess I'll wait for a mod that vastly increases the radius ^^

When you play with Ambient Attacks, a lot of resources can accumulate outside the walls

I wouldn’t use the drone mining towers unless you really need to mine resources outside of your defense line. And that only happened to me when I got very close to the map’s borders.

Same here. If I have resources outside my defense line, I usually move my defense line forward ^^

I would like to see a mod to increase the drone count and collection area though.

Built a level 2 tower between 3 deposits. Game says 0.5 in production ... lol

Guys :) I myself modify the game as I wish. Therefore, I will say that I doubled the search radius, and with more than 10 mining towers, the game starts to slow down. As I understand it, the drone submits a search request every second and simply does not understand where to fly when the radius of this request is much larger than the standard hundred.
PS These towers work in the same way as flora collectors, so I recommend placing them on outposts near several deposits and after a minute (let them make a few walkers) leave the location. And you have a huge infinite profit (bet near rare minerals).
