Lightning gun ?
Am I missing something or is this just not working? Built one and it won't ever fire its acting like I have no ammo. Do I need to research the ammo or something first ?

think "Tazer", you only have the lightning going when a enemy is nearby.

No I figured it out. Apparently you don't get energy cells until like research T3. They come with plasma rifles. Not sure why I can make a lightning gun from the start but don't get ammo till later but whatever.

I think lightning gun is a "find the blueprint" weapon you can pick up.
So you were just "lucky"? :D
