Going back to the outpost starts the conversion again... it's very strage.
I have since built some centrifuges at my main base. It's a solution but not the one I'd like.
Edit: Thanks for the response
This has been a bug since October 2021, and the devs REFUSE to fix it.
I have this same issue, but with every resource by late game.
Outpost resources simply don't rift. And when you do go to outpost, carbonium and ironium go to negative 300, 400 500 odd, and seems to add on each time you rift. The whole resource/outpost rift maths is utterly ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but there's no plan to fix it.
How would that even happen, unless you ignored the mission objective to build an outpost there?
How can it be that one mistake ruins the progress its better to ask, and it was not a mission objective. It just said that you haven`t build a base and will no be able to go back to this location. I have done this with other locations too, but I still have the possebility to mine that same ore in a new location. If this was a "must" its better that you can`t leave the location before you have build a base there.
Are you sure you've done all the uranium missions then? The final one asks you to build an outpost. It's even titled "Establish a uranium mining outpost" or something similar.
Its ok now :-) I had the Nuclear Energy at the bottom of my research list. Didnt see it. Suddenly it poped up finish and then the Uranium mission started. My bad, thanks anyway.
