sometimes the combat is intense other times you get a little break to build...i really hope a ton more development is coming. forget the giant triple a studios, this game is where its at
and i'm one picky gamer
The VA isn't the worst I've ever heard (nothing gets on my nerves like They Are Billions' VA) but it does distract me more than it immerses.
I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if there was not an event every damn day.

It's the main theme music of this game that is what I really gets on my nerves. It doesn't fit at all with the premise of the game.
The whole atmosphere of this game is like: YOU ARE TOTALLY GETTING YOUR ASS EATEN OFF FOR THE 10TH TIME! ISN'T THAT LIKE, TOTALLY AWESOME?
Me: No... This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. I don't like having to rebuild half my entire base ten times over. I want my money back...
go ahead and try it.
when people are talking all other sounds are muffled. if you reduce volume or mute the dialog, everything else sounds very weird.
a mod could fix the muffled sound while dialog is muted. and muting the dialog is the first (and super obvious ) thing we all did.
I don't see it as a different problem. I see it as very much related. but you don't seem to have any issue with the dialog yourself and you clearly never tried to mute dialog. You just came into this thread to... what? to tell us to shut up apparently.
By your logic, I came to tell you that you were wrong. And since nobody mentioned this "super obvious" solution, I decided to. I have bigger issues with the game than a voice actor's dialogue.
