Yeah Bullguard, came with my MOBO
While I have you though is there an option to change the display top right to show resources on your current area / biome rather than just "local"
And I've just realised I've played about 5 hours and expanding without using a little portal to fast travel, trouble is I started the Campaign last July and only just got back to the game this week and I can't remember how they work. Is there a guide or quick explanation?
If you see 'local' in the top right it means that your power grid is divided - your HQ has one power grid and you built a disconnected outpost elsewhere. Other than that all displayed resources are global.
You can place small portals around the map to move around using the map - TAB button. Those portals do not need to be powered on and have to be placed quite far from each other. You can also use the Orbital Scanner to jump to different biomes - U key by default, if I recall correctly.
Yeah I've sort of branched out and built a little fenced off area with a power source and some guns to pick off remote enemies, that's why I'd never noticed the power as "local" before.
I've used the biome jump it's just the little ones you can make, couldn't remember how to use them, I'll have a play. Thanks.
