Ok this game is starting to piss me off, I don't know what i'm doing wrong here, and I keep getting attacked and the constant chatter is killing me here.
Can someone please tell me what i'm missing here?
Also I know the ai core count is f''''ed

As the first replier said, you're pumping mud into the lab.

Pump mud into a liquid storage, then the water purifier, then another liquid storage and then into the lab. And of course, to quote The Ghostbusters: Don't let the streams cross.

You can probably eschew the mud storage if the supply stays constant.

Mud or water storage is not needed. Mud pumps never stall.

Water storage is needed on the big Portal to Earth. Without it says 800 from the 5000, it needs the buffer.
