The Desert is Kinda Useless?
Now I've been playing this for a while, And its all and all a pretty fun game, but I've noticed an issue with Biome Balance, namely that there is now reason to go back to the desert after you finish your missions there.

Basically at this point in the game I have given up mining, Gas Power plants and Synthesizers in the acid biome give me all the Carbonium and Ironium I need, and cultivators give me everything else. Cultivators are a nice stress free way of infinitely gathering most materials, and they only need water, so I like using them.

And therein lies the problem, the Desert has No Water, No Sludge, Not even Geothermal vents. That means no Cultivators, and no advanced power generation, so No Synthesizers either. While you could step around the power generation with Super coolant, that is incredibly resource inefficient as it uses Titanium as upkeep, and is just not worth it when you can get water so much easier on every other map, even the Lava Biome water is easier to come by, and power generation is no issue there either.

Once you complete the objectives and scan the big green crystals enough, you never have to go back there, except for the oasis map, and even then its a very small amount of water there.

So Yeah, Desert is useless.

While I have your attention:
The Shield Generators are a little giltchy, sometimes they don't increase their shield amount when being placed or upgraded.
And can we have some way of crossing pipes over? pipe management is a nightmare in this game.

This is kind of a thing with deserts. Even their name comes from it.

Also, you don`t actually need to return to any location, or have any number of outposts. You can manage with HQ only if you so desire.

Put tons of solar power generators and those buildings what create carb and iron from energy.

Each T3 solar panel gives 160/s energy on the desert maps. So you can get a lot of power without the need for advanced power systems unlike other maps. The only issue at that point is storage.

it is because u play on a low difficulty?

i have played normals (kampagin) and even then i dondt needed to go outpost Uranium and Titanium because i had PLants for them.

but if u du that and Can mine all ressources from PLants, then u can nearly instantly end the game and Open the rift to Earth.

so just to Mine the Ressources before u can Stabelize and Grow plants ist much quicker and can lead to better Towers faster.

if u find the game to Easy - go high on Difficulty.

im now with Hard and the Beginning seems easyer now but i will go mine more because i dont wanna Research so fast.
And if u play on Extreme Kampain and find things easy then go Survival.

or simply -> Yes in the Kampain u have Endleess time and endless ressources. what do u Wanted?

How +200% solar can be useless? 0_o
It's the earliest possible carbon/ironium problem solver, WAY before cultivators.

This. Also there's a lot of land, just spam SPPs and storage and use those to feed synthesizers. I put some plant burners at first and deleted them as they were pointless.
