It will be a campaign coop like x-morph?
Don't underestimate potential of that feature, I've personally got quite a few games for coop exclusively I would have never touched if they were SP only and there is a horde of people like me.
Wishlisted for now with expectation to see coop as for solo(and coop) I have Factorio already, but was looking for something more combat oriented.
I'd prefer if it was possible to play online coop. Having to play with a controller was a pain in the ass and deterred us entirely from the cooperative experience.
a) finish single-player content
b) start work on co-op
c) release co-op as a free content update for everyone
How does that sound? ;)
So many games scream COOP 2-4 players,
yet companies/devs/coders focus on sp only
This is another one
Wouldn't it be less coding time and effort to support multiple players from the start
avoiding re writing viables and code to support multiple players in the game tacted on later
Both Unity and Godot should support Split screen , LAN coop and Online coop
SP and MP are two different beasts. We can't simultaneously develop both elements, since we don't have enough manpower to do so.
Also, we don't use any 3rd party engine. It's our own tech, and we need to write everything by ourselves, which takes time.
Patience, friend! :)
