Aspyr Support re music removal: "While currently there are no plans on adding more songs to the game, I'll be forwarding your feedback to the development team."

Feel free to copy and paste the message I sent:
"This is a re-release of an old game. I just got it on Steam. The songs Lollipop, My Boyfriend's Back, There Goes My Baby and Mr. Sandman are noticeably absent from the in-game main menu, diner jukebox and various other parts of the game where they should be playing."

I considered leaving the game a negative review. However, it is a good game. It just needs to have the music restored and some other things fixed.

From what i understand the original license to use those songs expired and Aspyr either did not or could not renew the license to use them again

Edit: they were removed from the main menu but are still in the game. Notably in the dance off. Im not sure why the jukebox is not playing them but i do remember that back in the original you could get the jukebox to change tracks.

I wrote them a feedback mail on my own also, an hour ago, the biggest named issue among a lot of others being the soundtrack. Wonder if they write back.

What bugs my mind the most is the fact that the songs are still present in the game, as said, reportedly in the dance off they're all in there. So they must have the license. So I just don't understand why it's missing from the menu and from the rest of the game itself. It seems like a conscious decision which I just don't understand.
