Why does everyone end up hating Lu Bu?

He was oathsworn with Zhang Liao and the strategist in his army and every event was a positive that strengthened their bond but now they both have an X and dislike him. Same with Diaochan she is married to Lu Bu and liked him as well but now all of sudden there is a X. Is Lu Bu just set to be eventually be hated by everyone?

its because of the games random trait modifier that kicks in ever so often. it can make even oath sworn brothers rivals.

Its in the story Lu bu had little to no respect for others and was often called a Wild Dog by Cao Cao, in the end he betrayed so many people that when he got captured by Cao Cao he offered to served him and yet while it was normal for him to take defeated foes into his forces he choose not to risk it and had him killed. They didn't even beat him in a fair fight they got his own men to get him drunk then tied him to a pillar

I play as the bandit queen married lv 7 Lu Bu to not get killed by him in early game ( around turn 30 ) and they have been besties for life waging war together forever and ever since.
Sadly no kids and they are in their 40/50+ now ><

lu bu isnt even that great of a fighter in the game, i put guan yu up against him and guan won. he just starts out as a super high level which eventually becomes normal late-game.

Just married them together after Dong died and they rather quickly had children. Lu Bu is 50 now and i think the girl is 9 or 10 and the boy is 7.

I think the children situation is actually based on the true story... I don't think there is fictional kids yet in game. There should be a option that allows you to follow story have story kids or.. Make your own?... Although I do know playing as liu bei.. I had my first son from tao ying.. After tao died he never gave me my lands.. And yet he offered me a marriage purposal.. I accepted.. But yet still invaded his land to get the quest finished.. After this liu bei had his first son by 207 as history states liu shan was born in 207... Once I conquered tao son lands.. I ended up getting zhao yun as one of my generals.. So am guessing there isn't any fictional characters yet for kids... As I married pei.. Which I believe may be lady gan.. Who dies at the battle of chang ban..

I was all excited and a bit concerned about facing him in battle. He had his own faction and was my vassal. He rebelled against me and we went to war. He never even fought in his army. He just sent stacks of 2 strategist armies. The faction was “very poor” and I suspect he couldn’t afford to hire himself and his sizable retinue into an army lol.

It was disappointing when I ended his faction without ever seeing him.

In 3 of my " testing things campain " i married lu bu in different faction he had like 3 kids in 1 and 0 on the 2 other
Still i think your right on some point because on every campain i get to marry ppl it's all or nothing result most of the time no kids but some times one guy go crazy and get 4/5 in a row

No if i recall she leave Lu Bu after he kills Dong Zhao and he gets married to another person and has that daughter Lu Linqui or something like that
