If they have the opportunity. They are still working on something for Stygian but it's not clear what yet

arent the devs worried about people not buying anymore of their games in fear of it ending up like this one? forever in limbo?

It's not about worrying, it's about whether the money exists to do anything major. This is not a high-budget game.

but they got more than what they ask for. it comes down to poor planning.

Without an insight into the development process, that's pure speculation based on nothing.

I can understand the kind of ending ... when have the stories of lovecraft gone well ?... in any case what bothers me are the unfinished missions ... you are standing with a foolish face saying "I've been going round and round for nothing" ...

No, that's exactly what it is. Poor planning and inexperience. If you want to throw shade on them for that is for people to decide on their own though.

Emmm, this game will not have the following story, it is a semi-finished product, the producer has no future plans

People always seem to overlook that a developer is not the only one making decisions around what happens to a game, and not even the most important one.

i find the hunger mechanic super annoying, ticking timer in a game like this is a blasphemy, you slowly die while trying to figure out what to do and running circles. Why would I ever play a baldur's game clone on a timer?

All you need to do is buy a bunch of food at the beginning and it's never a problem again, the rate of food consumption is not very high and the cost is low.

It's nothing like Baldur's Gate.

Some developers don't give a monkeys.

Uber Entertainment - SMNC - never finished, abandoned and it took 6 years to be shut down, Planetary Annihilation - not finished, Planetary Annihilation Titans - 'finished' game but you had to but it again, Human Resources Kickstarter - failed miserably because they burned too many people with their previous two games, refocused on cash grab mobile games and I just read they went under last year so it does catch up eventually.

I'm here because of Humble Bundle and from what I am reading I won't be getting this even in a bundle.
