Can't craft with companions...

Buying this blueprints for some healing equipment, only to realize that only the main character can craft, which in this case you MUST forfeit some other skill points in favor of medicine to be able to craft healing items.
Then I read that crafting for companions will be added in who-knows-when futuristic update which in this case will totally be a game changer. Sorry, this is just plain stupid.

By the way, looking at the cost of laudunum shots (about 31 cigs) vs the costs of the blueprint for laudunum (100ish) and the herbs needed for the recipe which are about 20 cigs, I'd recommend just buying laudunum as you need it.

The recipe actually makes 3 doses each, and you find empty syringes just lying around (sounds safe...), so it's a better deal than it might seem.

You need 1 melee skill and a crowbar. Also maybe more than 4 physique? But not sure. I was able to open with 6 phys.

Nope. But there's like 3 crates in the entire game that it comes up and the loot in there is nothing amazing. All of the best loot comes from certain encounters/quest solutions/shops.

No. All skill checks using the radial menu require your PC to handle it.

Basically what I'm saying is if you're looking at locked chests and crates thinking there's going to be a big payoff, there isn't really. You can get 1-2 rare artifacts and a lot of extra cash but hey. By the way, there's no real point in maxing 2 skills on your PC, you can spread points pretty safely.

I think if you own a crowbar AND? the requirements (melee?) you can open it

If the payoff is so small is it even worth the cost of a crowbar? Or you can find one around?
