I guess, given this will be EA, we can't expect the same depth as The Movies. I'm looking forward to this, though! Will have to see the state it launches in first.
Hope the game turns out to be fun, I had a lot of fun with The Movies back in the day :D
While there are some simulation aspects in our game, we have focused more on the tycoon aspects. In Filmmaker Tycoon, the quality of the movies you make will depend on the crew you hire. This is where a tycoon game is different from a pure simulation game.
Thanks - that makes sense and is probably why there is a disconnect between what fans of The Movies want, and what you guys are making.
I wish you would have gone with a simulation game instead then, but thats just because I love The Movies.
Best of luck!
Thanks for clarifying! I happen to love both simulation and tycoon games, so a best of both worlds game definitely has my interest.
