Mindless fun isn't inherently terrible. I don't always have an hour to sit down and invest myself in a game, but I often have 10 minutes to sit down and blast through a level of Enforcer.

It's not the mindless fun I have a problem with, it's the poor level design, lack of enemy variety, too many weapons and once you invest in armor you're pretty much invincible.

Combo'd with the fact that there's no mods to fix those problems, it's just a bad game that could have been good.

Are you kidding? This game is released in 1999. It have been created for people those years and its pretty good for that years. If you want some cool graphics e.t.c. go play Bureau.

I like how whenever I criticize a old game, there's always one idiot that comes out of the woodwork and screams "LOL GRAPHICS ARENT EVERYTHING YOU STOOPID LULZ GO PLAY *insert modern game here that probably did better than game I'm criticizing*". Even though I specifically mentioned in a previous comment why I dislike the game (PROTIP: I didn't say it was the graphics).

BTW, you might want to get your facts straight.The game was released in 2001, and only received average reviews. It effectively killed the X-COM series until the reboot in 2012.

This game have too steep a learning curve for ya? I know this game takes some patience and imagination, unlike say BF4 or WoW. It really is a worth experience if you put the time into it. Or maybe you just aren't smart enough...
