Discovery Tour by Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt

Just bought the game but does'nt start at all
I have installed it , checked the files integrity , updated graphics driver (760 GTX) , everything good , when i click on start , it connects to Uplay (i have an account there , it is logged in) after that it shows up in steam that the game is started and after 10 secs , the playing status wanishes . All other games run smoothly (PUBG , Space engineers , Mafia III etc )

Can someone help me please ?

I dont own Assassin’s Creed: Origins , but from what i see it is not required . This Ancient Egypt took 45 Gb .

I have just solve my issue.

Normally I have steam games installed on a SSD 500 gb disk - E:\steam
I tried to move the game to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam , |the same ssd where windows is installed|. The game starts from now on normally - dont know why - worth a try

I have the recently free uPlay version and I had the same launch issue. I managed to free up enough space to install on my C: drive but it still didn't launch. However I found that in Event logs there was a different error log this time. Looking up this code I found that it can be caused by trying to run instructions on a CPU that doesn't support them. This game is based on the Assassin's Creed Origins, and this game requirements list: SSE 4.1 Support or higher required. Please note that Phenom processors are not supported.
So that answers why it is still not launching for me. (Running Phenom II x6 CPU)

I have recently changed CPU and board with the Intel 7100 and now runs without a problem
