You will find that many things were altered to be modernized or make things fancier. Be prepared for censorship of 2000 years old statues.

On top of this, there is alien city or whatever it is in desert... I probably never get memo of lastest news in egyptology...

Yep. I love it, too. beautiful to look at and learn things from. ALthough it does make even my new-ish desktop PC sound like a passenger jet taking off from LaGuardia Airport :-)
The Learning Tour for AC:Odyssey (Ancient Greece) was optimized much more effectively, and is also beautiful.

I'm a history geek and I love this game. Listened to every guided tour. Learned a ton to fill in my knowledge gaps about this area of history. Didn't care about the statues, they pointed out the creative license required to make things accessible to schools and other regions of the world.
