came here to ask the same thing, yeah, maybe there will be a separate VR version, but I'd prefer to see a single version with VR as optional.

Vr for this game would be sick, to operate with a friend in coop.

I bought this game, because I anticipated it to be a VR title... why would you play it without VR, when this is the most fun about it!? well, gonna have to refund then... buying was faster than reading and thinking... yikes.

I LOVE VR. Will it have VR?

There are no plans for a VR mode at this time. With that said, we’re aware that many people thoroughly enjoyed the original game in VR and it’s a popular request, so we may consider it in the future!

Considering the massive differences and gameplay differences in Surgeon Simulator 2 to SS2013, it'd most likely be much harder to get it working in Surgeon Simulator 2 without causing motion sickness or incredibly buggy physics and gameplay, but it's certainly possible if done correctly.

motion sickness

lol .. no thats not been a problem for vr for ages and unity can handle vr quite well

it wont change the physics because the bones and intestines act the same way in vr as they do in standard play mode

its not hard for them to impliment as they can use the same system they used before for the first version with minor improvements for index controllers

It cracks me up that people still bring up motion sickness. This is a problem for a tiny minority of people with current hardware. The same people that get motion sick playing games on flat screen. In game things like Speed, fast movement changes, large/small areas etc do not cause motion sickness on modern hardware for the vast majority of people.

Edit: +1 for VR

This is interesting. Was it a full year exclusive?

I have the first Surgeon Simulator VR, it doesn't work at all. The headset stays black, no image. This problem has been there for more than a year, the devs don't bother to fix it.
Don't waste money on this game.

SS VR would be one of the greatest VR games if it wasnt broke as ♥♥♥♥. If they fixed it and came out with a working SS2 VR I would be all over that ♥♥♥♥ like white on rice.

I have and Index and a Reverb 2 and its busted on both.
