You are blocked from multiplayer mode
Why is this happening ?
I can't access multiaplyer on xbox pass and my friend is getting the same message on steam and xbox.

Same issue. I was in the tutorial and a message randomly popped up saying "You are blocked from communicating via voice, text or inviting others".

Try restarting couple times. It apparently fixed itself
