Features missing from the Switch version [UPDATED]
While I'm more than thankful that Inti Creates is willing to bring more of their games to the PC (especially Mighty Gunvolt Burst, which was my favorite game from 2017), I do notice there are certain omissions from the original Switch version.

First of all, there's the dynamic lighting, in the Switch version you had this amazing lighting effect where when the characters stand near a source of light this would bounce over them, which is very neat to see on a 2D pixel sprite. It's a gorgeous effect and I believe there's no other game that does this. :p2chell:

Sadly, on the 3DS version removed them, probably because they were too intense for the system to handle. But that really doesn't holds much water for PC, where the dynamic lighting is missing, giving a pretty flat image in many areas.

Another feature missing, which it's a bit more important, is the "Dowsing Module", which for the Switch is heavily advertised as it takes advantage of the Joycon's HD rumble, as this game is heavy on unlockable secret items.
The 3DS obviously didn't capitalize into this feature due its lack of haptic feedback, although I feel they could have handled it in a different way (like getting signals on lower screen, for example)

Strangely, neither the PS4 version or the PC version include this module, replacing it instead with +50 CP. (Really the lack of rumble seems to be a common trend among other Inti Creates games on PC that do have rumble on Switch)
While I understand that keyboard users would be left out of this feature, as I said, they could implement it in another way, like a beeping noise or something. But its just strange how neither the PS4 has this depite the fact that the DualShock controller has rumble, is not a technoly solely Nintendo owns.

Of course, this PC port is a far cry from the 3DS version; constant framerate without any kind of slowdowns, and all of the DLC characters, and it's there for all the people who can't afford a Switch or PS4 and don't have to rely on dodgy emulation. And the game was a whole is just very fun to play.
It's a bit of shame how 2 years later since the launch on Switch we get a version that isn't quite on par, I just wish these issues to be adressed in a future patch, please. (At least just the lighting) :p2chell:
Especially when considering that the screenshots and video shown on the Steam store page are actually taken from the PS4 version, which could come as fake advertising. :dopey:

EDIT: Apparently the lighting effect seems to be a problem for AMD users, Nvidia should be fine.

Seems to be present and accounted for in my game, too.

Are you playing on fullscreen mode?
Is your GPU Nvidia or AMD?

I took that screenshot in fullscreen but it works on Windowed mode as well, and I have an Nvidia GPU.

Well then it seems to be an AMD-related issue, thanks for the info
