Severed right eye bug?

I'm just here to ask regarding the right eye guarded by Isidora. I had beaten her and retrieved the right eye and gave it to the traitor in the library. But I returned to the ossuary again and found the eye there again. I can still picked it up and give it to the traitor and he will repeat his dialogue. I'm not sure is everyone experiencing the same thing or is it a bug? Does it affects the game progression as it is important for the truest ending
