Controller not working

Was just about trying out a game that I've been waiting for years to arrive and it doesn't respond to anything I do with my controller. Not even in the "Press any button" scenarios. It was working just fine few minutes ago in another game.

It's Logitech F310, noticed someone else was having similar issues, so I think I'll just kill my time somewhere else while waiting for devs to fix their code. Not gonna play this sort of game on kboard :)

You could try using Steam Input. I'm playing with a Steam Controller using all gamepad bindings and it's working fine.

my buttons on Xbox pro controller works except for the "Press any button" scenario then i have to enter a key on the keyboard then i can continue with my controller :)

My DS4 works with correct prompts and all. I have the controller disabled in Steam though.

Xbox one controller, works on the "press any button" on menu and no other location.

Also only working on the main 'press any button' screen, but no other input. steam can see it and configure DS4 and works with everything else I've tried, but not in blasphemous. Was hoping to play tonight, but may have to wait. will try to get it working on my end short of using DS4windows (which I'd prefer not to since Its all working with other games).

I was having the same issue where my xbox 360 controller only worked on the main 'press any button ' screen. I exited the game. I right clicked the game in my steam library and changed the following setting:

Right Click -> Properties -> Steam Input Per-Game Setting Set to "Forced On"

I restarted the game and my xbox controller started working. Hope that fixes it for you guys as well.

Guys, install "DS4Windows" if you have PS4 Pad, go offline, start the program and play the game.
Steam often F....s with settings for your controller.

If you have older pad like logitech, download a program named "x360ce"

Yup, just updated to win10 this morning to get my xbox controller working. This trick made it for me, thanks!

I have some 360-compatible controller which works with every other game, just not this one.

Can you please try the following steps to see if it helps:

1. Unplug the controller
   
2. Launch the Steam client and click the controller icon at the top right to enter Big Picture Mode
   
3. Go to Settings > Controller Settings and make sure that "Playstation/Xbox/Generic Configuration Support" are all toggled on.
   
4. Then simply plug your controller and retest the game

Sorry, but what about GOG version of the game? The same problem exist there.

DS4Windows user here. This fixed the issue, and I still have the XBox buttons displayed in the game. Sweet.
