Might've Screwed Myself

At Renba's Dig Site, I foolishly decided to check out the barracks before going inside the huge tent. Of course, this action led to me being forced to leave the moon prematurely. Did not get to see what was inside the tent.

Now, conversation continues as if I had been inside the tent. I somehow psychically know exactly what was inside without actually getting to see the thing. I feel as though I missed quite a sight, and a large plot point!

I got both problems mentioned here (not being able to go back to the digging site and to lush moon) and it's so frustrating not being able to go back to previously explored places that it almost ruins immersion on my point of view

The first time I played, I couldn't go down to the excavation in the tent, because I failed to go down first, came back up, then Aliya refused to try again. I also went over the bridge on the lush moon, but that had no bad consequence, except that Six wasn't following me. I could get out the other side of the graveyard, then even get in again with Six later.

Also, I managed to lock myself out of Iox fairly early. Talk about missing some parts of the game.

I went into the tent site, moved planks, went down into the pit, explored & found a few items, and went back up, partially. Now I'm stuck with 6 and can't move the planks so that we both can get out of the pit. Is that a bug or a feature, or maybe the way it's supposed to happen? Help!!

I Went inside the big tent, lighted it up and decided i should check the barracs before doing anything else, now this lady wont leave me explore the tent... i was really hyped up to explore the tent... i think i will quit the game, i wont be able to accept not being able to go again into the tent.

Don't just restart the game. If you finish it properly, you can replay with keeping all your knowledge of Ancient from previous playthroughs. It's better to finish the game properly, meanwhile noting what you'd missed, then replay so that you get the content you missed the previous time.

Huh, I never managed to get locked out of exploring the tent. On my second playthrough I was forced to leave before going in, but I was able to come back and investigate after.

I did lose out on some of the places you can find artifacts around the dig site though.

One fun thing I found on my first playthrough is that you can find every site without getting anyone's help, just by searching aggressively enough for artifacts to localize them.
