Why do all the characters suddenly look like horribly loaded in JPEGs?

Havent touched the game in a while, I come back and check out the new characters and the old. And what the hell happened??? Why do some of them look down right awful?? Marija Magical Girl is one of the worst off the top of my head, like I understand if it was censoring but wouldnt they censor ALL of them? Not just a select few that honestly were not that bad overall?

Its just weird, and kinda makes the game offputting...I get censorship n whatnot, but it was nice cause it wasnt as bad as other games.

Reinstall the game / check your resolution

The newer characters are a lot cleaner than the oldest characters like Magical Girl, If you got a higher resolution monitor recently that might explain the difference you're seeing.

I reset my native resolution like usual (consistent problem from day 1), but it didnt change anything, im reinstalling currently. Crossing my fingers its just maybe the change since people have been more up in arms about it...

Itd make sense, but the weird thing is all of them are now zoomed in, and some in such a way that it seemed like a deliberate choice to try to "hide" some of the NSFW stuff. But like, if that was the case...why didnt they just flat out remove the bunny costume from Rin? Cause Bunny Rin is flawless and clean, yet Marijas dress n broom looked so horribly photoshopped??
*Came back, uh...yeah nothings changed. This was a deliberate change and I really dont understand WHY...Did they change companies or what? Not trying to be an ass, but like...why though?
