Literally no point in playing it on mobile, gonna just uninstall it there. Bought the Hatsune dlc
Steam won't honor money that you sent to Apple, and vice versa, so if you want the DLC on multiple platforms, you will unfortunately have to buy it multiple times.
It's not really up to Steam it's up to the developers and they simply just don't have that support
DLC is in-game based as a microtransaction so they could easily do it they just don't want to lol
It would be against Steam policy to handle microtransactions externally:
I've seen purchases go across accounts in many games from Epic games to Microsoft Game Store, it's totally doable they just don't want to lol
I've even bought DLCs on Overwatch 2 and it transfers to other platforms
They can use Steam to make purchases but it's once it's in the game it could totally freely unlock elsewhere, like I said; they just don't want to
Every platform wants a cut for all content being served by them. So unless you are willing to pay quite a bit more for things involving this game you do not have quite the winning comment you think you do.
Muse Dash is a much smaller indie game, compared to triple A giants like Call of Duty, meaning they have less resources to maintain server-side infrastructure required to validate payments across multiple platforms in a way that isn’t completely trivial to fool via spoofed data on the client’s end.
It is doable, just hasn't been done
Definitely not buying content on both platforms so I just uninstalled the mobile version, no point really
