Not sure if you understood what the problem was in that case. Just as Planned promised all future content for free, which would have meant "broken promises" on PPG's side.
You don't have to worry - Just as Planned will disappear from the store and new players will only have the option to buy the new DLC packs in the future. If you do want to support them, you can buy some merch every time a new DLC comes out, so that you get to still help them out, even if you had Just as Planned already bought.
People who only have the game, without the Just as Planned DLC, will get to buy the new DLCs, which is more than fair since they only paid 3 dollars for the game, just as you said.
