So what happens after Jan 20, 2024?
"Limited-time Collab Music Pack [MSR Anthology] update will be available from 2023 Jan 20 to 2024 Jan 20. Unlock the music pack to receive 8 new songs, 1 new character Amiya, 3 illustrations, and 1 brand new welcome screen!"

I'm confused on the wording. The character and other prizes will be removed from the game then? Or people who buy the DLC after that day will not get the character but the rest of us who already own it now will keep her forever?

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. It might be some licensing stuff, but I sure hope they don't remove the songs in a year.

Has this type of thing happened in the past?

The fact that it states "update will be available from" as a posed to "update will be available to purchase" along with the year long window time frame to access it, leads me to think that they indeed to unfortunately yeet it out the game when the times comes.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yeah, Im not sure either. I fear the licensing issue as well, that we indeed only get a year to play these. This has never happened before either, so it'd be a first. Kinda pissed if it is only for a year though. I really dont enjoy timed events in solo games.

Thanks, great news then.

Is the one year time limit just for the standalone dlc or does it apply to "just as planned" DLC as well? Am thinking it's both but hoping it means just the standalone.

What do you mean by standalone? There is only one DLC on Steam. Not sure how the phones version works. I assume after next year Arknights will be removed from Just as Planned but only for new buyers.

Mobile version has standalone DLC. I'm just hoping they just copied pasted the patch notes from the mobile version to the steam one and just forgot to change it and that it would still be available after that date on the Just as planned DLC but that is wishful thinking
