Muse Dash

Muse Dash lacks rock and metal music.
Rin talks to me. "Haha, you also like rock music?"
But there's almost no rock in Muse Dash.
Recently, Muse Dash achieved adding more than 400 songs.
But how many rock and metal genres exist among these?
It's mostly EDM. I don't hate EDM, but it's too one-sided.
There is also a special concept pack called Radio FM Pack for low-fi and chiptune genres.
Please focus on rock and metal, too.
Thank you always to the Muse Dash team.

I think it has to do with the target audience in Japan and what's in Muse dash just appeals to their target demographic a lot. That said I'd love some metal or rock in there
it lacks any music that isn't eletronic tbh

That's like saying Super Mario lacks grenade launchers. Totally not the design they were going for.

rock doesnt equate to rhythm games well.
family jules is the least popular soundrack version for crypt of the necrodancer
games liek BPM, and Hellsinger do pretty badly, despite solid concepts ( bc they use hard rock for their rhythm music )
in general, the genre doesn't suit this style of game, bc oftentimes rock and metal music is SLOW.

Hellsinger has plenty of high tempo songs, it's rhythm is just locked to 3/4 signature.

(Also most of it's songs are metal not hard rock)

Guitar Hero would like a word with you, also what do you mean by oftentimes it's slow there's plenty of subgenres that have songs that average 165bpm.

Eastern rock is a little different to western rock, there are rock and metal songs but not the kind where they sing profanities or sing about a girl they dated and scream at the top of their lungs.

Unbeatable [white label] has only rock songs. It’s a rhythm game really similar to muse dash

I think something like Babymetal would feel right at home in this game. カタリスト (Catalyst) has really similar vibes, though it's more on the electronic side of the spectrum.

What easter egg?

EDIT: Right after I post I played Endless Error Loop and that might be the closest thing we've had to rock/metal so far despite Nanahira singing. The grimy guitar at the midpoint sounds great.

"Muse Dash lacks rock and metal music"
and guitar hero lacks electronic music.

seems fine to me.
