why is the dlc so expensive

I probably would have paid close to that price for the base game alone. But that was only 3 dollars. I almost felt obligated to support them with the DLC purchase. But with all the content I was getting, plus a lifetime pass to even more content on a regular basis, it wasn't even a question.

Plus, I really appreciate this business model of practically giving the base game away and making your money from continued support. Kind of like the Free-to-Play model, but better.

En lo que dices tienes toda la razón del mundo. Los precios siempre cambian un día pagas 2000$ y al otro 2800$. Volviendo al tema el precio del DLC de Muse Dash me parece razonable te da muchas horas de juego y siempre cada mes tienes nuevas canciones totalmente gratis cada día 25 a 30/31 de cada mes.

So ''no one actually buys it'', but it's somehow lucrative enough that they are still adding more songs to the DLC 3 years later.
