Progress syncing problem

So basically I'm using the same account on 2 different devices (Windows PC and a MacBook Pro). I'm also using the same Steam account but I'm still about 20 levels above the Windows PC, i just wanted to ask if there is a fix to this since I don't really want to play on the lower level account since it feels like I'm making 0 progress.

This game always had terrible account sync'ing and it seems it hasn't improved. You need to relog to load your cloud save. This might require you to log onto your other device first to make sure it is saved to the cloud. There shouldn't be any risk to lose your highest level account as it asks you if you want to keep local or load the cloud. Honestly, this game is a lot more enjoyable if you only stick to 1 device, because it's just feels like an hassle if you change between 2 often. I don't even want to imagine how it works with 2 computers if they are far apart.

This game resets your progress if you aren't login and it doesn't sync with steam cloud anymore which is annoying.

What a shame... I've been debating picking it up again on Mobile because it's such an enjoyable game, but I'm not looking to unlock all the songs and stuff again.
