True, the publisher really screwed the devs over. They should move to a different one asap.
Unfortunately this is really the only way to hurt the publisher, going through the developers, that's why Musedash is in such a bad position. X.D. network made their open statement knowing Musedash would be screwed. Basically sacrificed them.
The same thing can even be better said for the Antis. Only 2 girls said the forbidden word (and it's not exactly forbidden, just one for those hard nationalists) but they are going for the whole company and the other girls. They are much worse than just us doing review bomb.
I do agree though that I feel kinda bad for the developers but the main fault pretty much lies on X.D.
It does have something to do with the game a bit. One of the big reason is that a lot of the buyers actually bought the game because of the said streamers. The other big reason is they are using a very stupid, sad and petty reason for banning the said streamer to stream their game.
Then again, for those who don't care about the streamers, it's totally okay to agree with your view but personally, I feel it's also totally okay for those who care to review bomb them. So each to their own I guess.
it does not change the fact that there is nothing wrong with the game itself, the streamer drama does not represent the quality or the experience of the game
Well reviews can be used to represent on how the company behaves too. For example, there are some very good games with very predatory practice of micro-transactions and people usually review bomb them too.
Even if the game is good, if the company's behavior is bad do you mean to say that we should still keep praising the game? Besides the reviews are clear that they have issue with how the company behaves so for people who reads them, they will easily know that the reviews are not talking about the game.
The main thing is, lots of buyers actually bought the game after the saw streams from Hololive. So they actually got a lot of benefit already from Hololive but turns out, instead of being grateful, they stabbed Hololive in the back just because of some hardliners. It's normal and it's to be expected that many people will be disappointed with this. If they expect otherwise, then that's stupid.
And if they end up removing songs without actual clear reasons, that in fact, also represents the quality of the game (this means they can just remove songs with any stupid and petty reasons).
predatory microtransactions actually impact the experience, so this is understandable.
In this case, this is some straight up drama, nothing more.
Okay yeah I might have used a wrong example so I agree with you. Though even if we agree it's a drama, it's still the company's fault since they are the one who actually started this first and also for all the various reasons stated (even if it doesn't resonate with you but no one has really ever given us any counter argument that what the company did is right). So this bad review should be well within their expectation. And again, I do believe reviews also can reflect the company's behavior (another example I can think of is that some people gives games a bad review when the support is being very bad or slow).
And if they start removing songs, that surely affects the game already (since songs are an important part of their game) and if some people are angry because of this and ends up giving a bad review, that's not drama anymore.
But well, let's agree to disagree. As a point in case, I agree that the game is not actually a bad game but I can't support the company that behaves this way anymore and so does some other people. And some people getting mad with the company for what they've done is, again perhaps just for me, well justified (perhaps they like to play the game and see the game being streamed by their favorite streamers and that by itself, is an experience too but now they can't enjoy that anymore).
The publishers controls the game and takes a big cut from the sales, doesnt matter if the game is good or not. The devs just have to learn to choose their partners more carefully in the future.
you are right we were tricked and manipulated by the chinese this is bad , they are laughing at us the cowards are using bots so we can´t touch them ,they arrive from work or school start watching streams and send bots and give a lot of dislikes arround 2700 so that is the number of those bastards , their goberment is not involved is a trap they are just geeks , weebos and people without others things to do
