Differences from Switch version + XD Network Account?

Is there any differences between this and the Switch version? And are you required to sign up for an XD Network Account on the Switch? I'd prefer not to have to sign up for yet another questionable "game network" if I can help it.

hello there! Actually the signing up is not mandatory. It's a good way to save and sync your gaming records and inventory though. Due to Nintendo policies, the XD account is not supported on Switch version. Hope this helps! ( and the XD account system is legit and safe :)
