Dumb question about unlocks

So, I already know there are no dumb questions - only dumb people.
Anyway, is it possible to unlock all the characters without buying the DLC?

In b4 "Buy the DLC is's so worth it" because, yeah, that's probably in my future (just not now)

The only content that is (curently) locked behind DLC are the DLC songs (except for one pack, which is free) and one loading screen background. All characters and elfins are available in the base game.

Yeah, but you're gonna be rotating through all the songs a bit to get to the level where everything is unlocked. skins and elfins aren't hidden behind a paywall though. so just play your favorite songs, try to beat your personal best or get all trophies on your way to unlocking everything, use idol buro to speed up the process.

Wait, so how many free songs do we get? I want to buy this game, but if most of the songs locked by DLC, then I'm waiting for the next sale.

You get ~50 free songs

With the DLC you get 13 packs á 6 songs, so aditionally 78 songs. You can unlock all chars and elfins only with the base game but if you like the music you WANT this DLC. Never thought I say this about a DLC but see it just as a big music album. The price is fair for the amount of music. Unfortunately there's not a file included with all the songs in MP3 or similar format.

So as a person above you replied to me, I will get around 50 free songs. And the DLC has 13 packs of songs, which each pack has 6 songs, so in total the DLC will add 78 more songs? Thanks for the information!
