No English Dub = Pass
I guess its good that Steam is offering all kinds of choices but really if a game is not in english, I will not pay for it.

My opinion.

You base your opinion of whether a game (a game you haven't even played for that matter) is garbage not by how the mechanics are or by whether the enemy and level design is good, but which language the voice acting is in?

If you want to pass on an action game because of the voice acting then go ahead, but I'm not sure why it was necessary at all to post this thread. Being disappointed there's no dub is perfectly reasonable, but saying it's outright garbage because of it?

Considering how extremely small this title is, would a dub even be worth it from a business standpoint? Again, it's fine to be disappointed there isn't a dub, but come on.

Great, now go post that to every non-english game you do not intend to play. Oh wait, you or your clones alreay did that. How shocking and meaningful, totaly not fishing for attention.

I just found out a few days ago that the game was translated into Latin American Spanish and I was delighted and on the other hand people trying to crap at a game for not having their idolized dubbing haha.
The games that I enjoyed in English trying to translate what I could or with the dictionary next, because it was impossible to even translate it into Spanish. 99% of the games are translated into English and most would say that all AAA come bent and still you complain XD.Que EGO bigger and little love to video games, that with that kind of mentality they seem to have a sickly obsession for the language of the country in which they were born haha.
This should not be allowed on Steam, which seems more a person looking for conflict than making a constructive contribution. One thing is to consult, suggest a dubbing that is not essential for the gameplay or understanding of the game, as if I consider a translation vital, which of the level of English or even if it is another less conventional language, it can make the game completely unplayable.

I wish my problem in the games was just a lack of dubbing. In my case there are several Japanese games that lack Portuguese subtitles. Glad that is not the case of this game.

Japanese Developers: oh no our game is garbage!!! we should make an English version so that our game wont be garbage

**translated using Google Translate**

Maybe instead of trying to shame someone into doing something that you want (like me cracking a joke to make you look like an idiot to get you to stfu) you just ask them for a dubbed version?

Eh, people can have opinions we don't agree with. It's a free internet guys. Let's not squelch free speech even when other people have opinions we don't share and feel the need to humiliate themselves on the internet by voicing an opinion which most likely isn't shared with the majority of people in the community being posted to.

To OP though: not sure what your objective is but you're not going to achieve it here. If non-ENG developers can afford to make an ENG dub and it makes financial sense to do so for them, they'll do it. The truth is though that aside from bigger mainstream games, ENG dubs don't add a lot of extra sales and have a huge cost. You're a bit in the minority here. Fortunately, you can easily go play a number of games that do have ENG dubs like any game in the DMC series, Bayonetta, or maybe God Hand or Hellblade or Nier: Automata or something. No one's asking you to enjoy a game you don't enjoy.

I was not trying to create this avalanche of hate. My statement was a message to the developer explaining why they would not get my sale. I will not pay for a game that is not in English.
Raven Aug 19, 2019 @ 8:18am
The game is fully subtitled in English and has a tiny dev team and budget, having to pay a ton of translators and voice actors just for an English dub the game really doesn't need is nowhere near as important as making sure the gameplay is functional and fleshed out. You're free to ignore the game for whatever reason but when you make unreasonable demands and claim stupid ♥♥♥♥ like "If it's not in English it's garbage" I don't know why you expect Harvard tier essays in response

The game IS in english. Don't know where you're getting at now. Is it that difficult to read? There's not much in way of animated cinematic cutscenes. Story is delivered as a Micro Visual Novel cuz the shoestring budget had better priorities to focus on. It's not like story is a main focus here anyways. If a game this stupidly self aware is too difficult to read then I dunno what to tell ya.
