Has anyone found the Treasures yet? Treasure hunt problems and ideas

I havent found any treasures, i may be blind and just dont see them, but the game also doesnt give you ANY information about them. Yeah, you shouldnt immediatly see where to find them, of course, but theres not even a single hint on how they look or if theyre close to roads or stages or if they are 600km away.
There is also a map but it doesnt lead to any treasures it just has some random locations that dont do anything, so thats pointless

Also, by just doing the treasure hunt mode, you see how many time the dev team spent on making this huge detailed map, and only a minor, minor bit is used for the rally, because theres not much going on around the treasure hunt, its just a waste. The devs should really add something that would make the exploring of the map more fun, because the map is so good everyone needs to explore it! But there is only the confusing treasure hunt mode to explore, and not a ''explore to see the map'' like in the crew 1, or explore to find certain points in the map.

I think the map would need something like The Crew 1. A map which starts out with nothing, as you visit places, it will be showable on the map. That would make treasure hunt more fun, because it will be just as hard, but you will now know where you have been, so dont search on the same place 500 times, and you will remember where cool things are that you found like cities, or stadiums, or what else is all in the map to find.

I also would like the career mode and the treasure mode seperated, so if you start a new profile on career, your treasure hunt progress will stay, i think this is what most of the community wants

Also, being able to choose cars in treasure hunt would be lots of fun.

Devs, dont see this post as a hate on your game. I think that Dakar 18 is a lot of fun, and that it has so much potential, but some things are just not being done well, like non seperated career mode and treasure mode, and that the map you spent so,so long on, making absolutelty awesome, is totally unused.

The treasures are there. But sometimes some distance away from the icon on the map. On stage one, locate the wide tarmac road. When going down south, you see a sign telling you something like "village ... 1km right". Take this junction to the right you will find a vlliage. Look around the houses. You will find small chests there.

I think that the treasures are random, i have searched the town you meant ''Laguna Haucacus'' or something, i have seacrhed the MASSIVE town of Icti, ive searched Paracas, and 5 other unnamed cities, i found nothing. I dont know what i should look for, if it is inside of cities or just in the desert now, but ive found nothing.

The treasure location is always a few KM (direction CAP 145° if 0° is north) away from the map icon.

Where are the treasures on stage 6 located? I found the huge rock formation where a river starts, but I have no clue where the treasures could be,

Stage 8 is very frustrating because the search area is so huge and the way to the search area so hard.

Please make the following changes:
- Free vehicle selection (I have started with a car, but you would need a bike for travelling through the rough mountains)
- No more random placements so you can follow guides
- No more instant withdrawal when you flip your car over, let it flip us back on the wheels
- No day and night cycle for treasure hunt, searching in the dark without flashlight is pointless
- Let us resume at the treasure area once we have found one treasure
- Fix the stats beding not counted bug when exting directly to the main menu
- Make the chests a bit better visible
- I have all treasures from Peru, bu I didn't get the trophy "The peruvianan"

I think that the random placements are pretty nice, but they need to add some sort of map that shows where you have been, now you can search the same area 5 times without noticing, and mawbey they can also just add a sound or something that you hear when youre near the treasures. Rest of the ideas I agree with, the treasure hunt really needs some fixes and changes.

Yes, especially on stage 8 with all the very similir looking rock formations this would be good.

Dude, so i found out where the Inca Monkey is when driving around in stage 1, I go to the Marcona stage, where you should find the Inca Monkey, go to the location i was at but i couldnt find where i was, drive 5 KMs, FORBIDDEN AREA, GO BACK. Hit a rock and get stuck and it withdraws me. I was like a few KMs away i know for sure, this game really needs a map that shown locations youve been at so you wont get stuck and you know where what is when you visited it, because now i know where it is roughly, but with the massive unclimable mountains, its impossible to find back (Unless i climb 50 mountains next to the sea, drive back a 45mins-1hour to Paracas and the start of stage one, then drive another 20 minutes to the exact location)


So ive been always searching the treasures by Truck. But the chests are randomized, so i have the weird thought that its just broken with the truck, that ive been searching for 14 hours and there is NOTHING, NOTHING there. I mean, i could be going crazy, but its randomized per vehicle i think? And nobody yet has searched with the truck? So trucks are just broken?

I tried it again for the third time today. I failed again, and won't try anymore. Obviously that one's bugged.

For this third try, I decided to go slow and careful and directly for the National Park (Cap 210-230).
After 50 mins. I was around 250km in and not so far North of the National Park (probably 150km, hard to tell). I was going downhill some mountain until I saw a huge valley going straight to the South (That was actually quite beautiful, but sadly I'm not a screenshot guy) and so I thought, to the Park.
I took my car there and then went to cap 180 (Full South, straight to point).
"Finally, I'll finally get a chance to find those damn Dulce de Leche"
Until I noticed (too late) "FORBIDDEN AREA, GO BACK -15,14,13,12... ...3,2,1"
EXPULSION (after 59 mins.)

I like this game, I like those treasures hunts, but some clues and a working map would really help out some frustrations.
