How to enter Twilight Fields section of the Medical Pavilion without Incinerate:

So, I just had this problem at the beginning of the game (first time playing), where I had gotten Telekinesis, and chose to replace Incinerate with it rather than Bolt. But, I hadn't yet used Incinerate to un-freeze the door to the Twilight Fields wing. Tried googling to see if there might be a solution aside from going forward til I got Incinerate back, and having to backtrack all the way back. Nobody online who had the same problem got an answer aside from that.

Well, good news! I found the perfect solution on my own! Just wanted to post this so that anyone who might be having this problem in the future and are looking for a workaround might get this as a result on Google.

So, hopefully you haven't drank every bottle of alcohol in the level. Go and find one, and use telekinesis to grab it. Hold on to it and go back to Twilight fields. Directly nextdoor to the right, at Eternal Flame, there is a fire conveniently burning on the ground next to the entrance. Hold the bottle over the flame, and it sets it on fire (harmless to you), and creates a molotov cocktail! Then just walk back over and hurl it at the iced-over doorway to Twilight Fields, and voila! The ice melts away! :D

Some people use that technique to become like Nitro splicers and toss bombs around. Don't know if anyone ever used it to melt ice though. Nice find. sm

You can do this with a body too.

Kill a slice, put it on fire in the entrance. So just pass the flaming body on ice. Or just drop it.

I have a drink problem, I drank every bottle I found in phase before that. :D
