There are no Steam rules impeding it. Not since the changes this year.

Yeah would be nice to get uncensored version or patch. You could add it at free dlc form or something like some games add hd texture packs as free to download that way.

Playing the first LSL as a very young kid. Must've been no older than 7. Not understanding most of was going on, but Sierra games were nothing new for me so eventually i'd progress... Getting larry in this black [Censored] bar on a bed in leftys, a [Censored] bar that grows thicker and thinner as if to simulate something within the bar moving up and down. Sure I knew it meant sex, even if I had little idea of what that actually meant. But I thought it was funny.
So there I was as a kid, mimicing this with my hands in the busiest street of Amsterdam, shouting "Censored" "Censored" "Censored" while walking up to random strangers.

Anyway, the moral of the story is.. Larry's always been censored, and it caters to all type markets, even if it's adult oriented.

That said, I wouldn't be opposed to an uncensor option if applicable. A DLC could indeed work nicely, especially if devs took it a step further and changed the interactions depending on with or without uncensor DLC, possibly resulting in some funny situations and/or dialogues.

Larry 1 was my first pc game, when you had no internet and porn and this would still get you a bit aroused as a kid (that and watching tiny blocks of scrambled porn on tv).
Never did anything weird on the streets though after playing it.

There are boobs and nudity these days in games on steam, so i can't see why there can't be an uncensored version, it's cartoony anyway.

I think the point here is there is nothing to censor, it's an innuendo game, not a pornographic game (whether it should be one or not at this point is another question entirely). I'm guessing fear of liberal backlash has pretty much ensured the weird prudishness of all but the lowest end game developers has continued.... and really for all that I've said it wouldn't make a lot of sense for there to be a lot of actual sex involving Larry since the entire *point* of LSL is that he's a loser who can't score. That said over the last 30 or so years I would have imagined the game evolving to involve some fairly hardcore animated pornography, just nothing involving him until perhaps the end. I say this because part of the "joke" is everyone having fun except Larry especially in some of the later games. Showing some of the things he witnesses in more detail (like the Juggs' show in 7) or various porn sites he surfs and stuff like that is where I'd expect the game to go. It should also be noted that one of the things that is very un-PC is that part of the joke is a weird judgemental streak where Larry is a creep, but on some levels he can strangely be seen as more of a good guy than some of the women he winds up creeping on (which is where some of the jokes and puzzles come from, I don't want to spoil anything). It's usually the "nice" girl he winds up with though this is massively subverted between 6 & 7 where the new age hippie type girl he winds up with in 6 turns into a self serving witch at the beginning of 7 and literally leaves him to die after they presumably have sex between games.... at any rate I'm rambling. I guess my point is that while I would expect these games to be "X rated" by now they have never traditionally been so, and as a result I can sort of see why you wouldn't need a patch. I mean heck, there is even a recurring in-game gag about strategically placed foliage and other objects in "7".

There is some nudity... just don’t expect explicit sex scenes... it has just about same amount of nudity in Larry 1-3. Obscured in similar ways like person holding arms over breasts showing back or side of body. Lots of breasts in background artwork too... subliminal art...
