The End?

First let me say ive never actually played a Leisure Suit Larry game up until i got this. All ive known is from letsplays, and my own research. But i have to say i really enjoyed playing Wet Dreams Don't Dry. I liked the story, the characters, and frustratingly wandering around wondering how to trap live rats

However i must say the ending was...underwhelming. I liked the lead up, and obviously there was no chance Larry would actually get with Faith in the end. But does anyone else feel like the end was a bit odd? After knowing what i do about the Larrys history and playing though it the whole thing feels rather bittersweet. As if Larry never really got a happy ending. I can understand that the developers didnt want to write themselves into a corner like Al Lowe did after the third game. And gives the possiblity for other games in the future. But i dont know, mabye its just me, still really enjoyed the game. Just wish it didnt leave Larry hanging.

To be honest: Everytime Larry gets the girl at the end... so yes its really disapointing... its a unwriten law. :)
