The rest is a secret for now :-).
This is wonderful news as I can't get enough of this game! I beat the game but wish there was a percentage tracker or more secrets to do post-ending so I could keep playing... :)
Great! I look forward to the updates!!
To Be Continued...
Been burned too many times as a kid with empty promises like "See you again in Axelay 2"...
But seriously, it's not a stretch when I say this has been the best indie/metroidvania game I've played in a LONG time(Axiom Verge was good but it just didn't have the 'it' factor that this game has). The Messenger is just so perfect in so many ways like the writing(the shop keeper!), the transition, the music, and yes even the story. Usually stories are very cliche and tired with metroidvania games and I don't care for them, but this game's story has actually got my mind blown in more than one occasion...and despite hearing people having issues with the 'do-the-thing' ending, it got me busted out laughing and cheering! It was fantastic and very satisfying.
The music is so good my daughter dances to the tunes while I play. My personal favorite is the 16-bit Sunken Shrine. (I bought the soundtrack but why are some of the tracks only 1 loop??)
Anyway, I know I'm going on and on but I just can't get enough of this gem!
I learned so much playing it. That is a game I got very enganged into making the hero triumph. It is really not exaggerating saying it is a well made game.
And I was blown away at the seemingly unrelated 'stories' were actually real events that took place in the game world! Very cool.
I hope this beautiful game do updates/dlcs/new patches and improves the one, expand the story and the dialogues without need a fragmentation of the game.
For example, the devs could launch packs of extensions, including new plots, new skills, new dialogues (a full pack of shopkeeper histories <3 <3) and, of course, more songs for the Jukebox :D!! Finally... a multiplayer mode <3<3<3. Dreams...
Really loving this game so much, i'm not usually hooked this deep into this kind of game, usually just play and done, but this one is different, it has a good bit of everything.
Hope the devs can go on to their next project, whether it's a dlc or sequel, or even a new completely game, i'm already in!
