Too few horseshoes from racing

I don't even get enough horseshoes from racing now to pay for the watermelon. Why are the rewards so much lower now? Is it cause I race too much?

I got the same problem :(
So racing isn't really fun any more at level 20
Got a hard time feeding my horse :(
Can this be fixed?

Once I got past 21 the grind got less bad, I think I'm on 25 or 26 at the moment. Racing is now my main issue, it's so fast I burn through loads of watermelons going up one level thanks to crashing into everything. Waiting for my herd to go on strike cuz of knee bruising :P

Now I stick with leveling up my horses into the low 40s before increasing my level, it makes it seem a little less grindy lol

A reply on Foxie's Facebook page says they'll be adjusting the payout of gems and horseshoes after the upcoming language update next month:

"we will also increase the horse shoes and other rewards in the future updates"

Hoping we see more DLC soon with playable Friesians and more coat colours for the other horses too

I agree, after reaching level 15 I've only been able to gather 85 horseshoes, but before that level I could get 1000
