Age verification is too difficult

The questions at the beginning are about people and things I don't know. How am I supposed to answer them? I am in my 30s.

If you don't mind spoilers, the answers are given in the guides section, although I don't know why they are listed as "copy protection". They also show a bypass key sequence at the top, but I don't know if they work in the Steam editions.

I looked at those guides, both of them, the first 2 questions I have been asked are not in either guide, who knows if the rest are.

Edit: Well, none of the questions I was asked were in either guide, thankfully some were easy, the rest were googled.
I don't know the history of America, I didn't know what number of president Nixon was, or that Spiro Agnew was a vice president(or who that even was).

Does anyone know why I can't get through the age barrier? I've entered my real age but it just brings up letters and it doesn't matter what combination I select, it won't let me through. This is ridiculous.

Nevermind I finally figured it out. If you click on the age thing instead of typing in your age, it brings up a number pad (that's what I was doing) but it only brings up letters when you click the numbers. So, you have to actually enter the numbers at the previous screen and it lets you through. I didn't know - I've never seen anything like this in a game before.

i hated pirating this game back then cause of the questions was before my time im 34 but damn its stupid this is still on here could they not take that out ?

I am a similar age to you and totally agree. So I picked up LSL: reloaded... and it has an age verification as well... and... since I actually am the appropriate age this time, I know all the answers! lol

I remember first playing this game in the early 90's at age 12, (I'm in my 40's now) and even then, as someone with almost zero knowledge of 80's American pop culture, I perservered. Weird thing is after having to try so many times, I know all the answers off by heart now, little perv that I was.

Ctrl-Alt-X is working on the VGA version. Just select one range of year and when you are on the first question just Control+Alt+X. It even skips the copy protection from the original!
